IT ALL STARTED on December 6, 1933. On that day, after ratification of the 21st Amendment that ended prohibition, Honeywood Winery received their Winery License…over 86 years ago.  Marlene Gallick and her Husband Paul, purchased the winery in 1972 and Paul passed away in 2017.  Not too long into their ownership, Marlene became the winemaker and has been hugely successful in that endeavor, winning over fifty awards and medals.  Marlene and her daughter, Lesley now operate the winery…creating the wine, running the bottling line, driving the forklift, and going to events.  The next Honeywood generation is frequently at the winery as Marlene and Lesely babysit grandkids, nieces, and nephews as they go about their daily winery duties.  It’s truly a women’s world at Honeywood Winery!
